LAST NIGHT WAS SPENT IN THE MARKET HALL AT RICMHOND, SAMPLING SOME OF THE 31 BEERS AND 4 CIDERS AND PERRY'S ON OFFER. VERY FINE THEY WERE TOO,
AND ROUTE A66 WAS ON FINE FORM. THE NIGHT WAS TOPPED OFF BY SOME FOLK MUSIC AND FOLK DANCING (ANY CHANCE FOR STUART AND VINCE TO DON THEIR BREECHES AND LONG SOCKS)
THE GOOD THING ABOUT THIS FESTIVAL IS THAT YOU CAN BRING IN YOUR OWN FOOD, AND WHAT A GOOD SELECTION OF TAKEOUTS THERE ARE IN RICHMOND. WE WENT FOR THE 'HOT' PIZZA AT ARISTON, AND IT WAS. IN ADDITION TO A CHEEKY CHEESE GARLIC BREAD - OBVIOUSLY HAVING TO TIGHTEN THE BELT WITH THE WHOLE REDUNDANCY THING AND SO DID NOT ADD CHIPS TO THE ORDER.
