THE COVERBRIDGE - HAM AND EGGS - A LEGEND

THE COVERBRIDGE IS KNOWN FOR THEIR FAMOUS HAM AND EGGS, I UNDERSTAND OFTEN MENTIONED BY THE LATE RICHARD WHITELEY OF COUNTDOWN .
JUST BEFORE XMAS WE FOUND OUT WHY. WHAT MUST BE THE LARGEST YORKSHIRE HAM (THINK HUGE GAMMON) TWO EGGS, REAL CHIPS AND PEAS CAME OUT ON A CHILLY LUNCH TIME. NO PUDDINGS WERE CONSUMED AFTERWARDS , TOO FULL AND NOT EVEN TEA (BELIEVE ME YOU WON'T NEED IT). DELICIOUS AND HOPE TO REPEAT THIS TREAT SOON.
