A cask of Dere Street has gone off to the Carlisle Beer Festival which starts on Thursday of this week. The festival has 50 real ales + ciders with a Cumbrian focus as well as many ales + ciders from other counties near/far. Many beers new to Fest.
Open: Thu 5pm-11pm; Fri/Sat 12pm-5pm; 5pm-11pm.
Food available
Admission all sessions: £1 (CAMRA membs)/£3 (non-membs). Advance tickets £2 (non-membs) on sale:
Kings Head, Fisher St, Carlisle from 1 Sep.
NB no advance tickets for Sat evening.
