THIS LITTLE PIGGY - (INTER)NATIONAL PIG DAY

Wikio - Top Blogs - Wine and beer

This week Mithril Ales pays homage to the pig (and why not?)

National Pig Day takes place on the 1st March in the USA, and according to Wikipedia (so it must be true) the purpose of National Pig Day is "to accord the pig its rightful, though generally unrecognised, place as one of man's most intellectual and domesticated animals."

More on National Pig Day can be found on:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Pig_Day

and this little piggy is going to sup some ale at one of the following piggin' great pubs:

The Old Well, Barnard Castle
The Half Moon, Darlington
The Ship, Middlestone Village
The Black Bull, Melsonby
The Bridgewater Arms, Winston
The Frog and Ferret, Spennymoor
The Voodoo Cafe, Darlington
The Stanwick, Aldbrough St John
The Snooker Club, Darlington
The Croft Hotel, Croft on Tees
The Four Alls, Ovington
The White Swan, Gilling West

Enjoy!
