Today is the last day of Aldbrough St John FEAST. There's been a whole range of events going on including a Scarecrow competition. Over the year's our efforts have included (in no particular order), me, Dafydd from Little Britain, Amy Winehouse, Katie Price, Marilyn Monroe and synchronised swimming for the Olympics year.
Last year we ran out of time to make a scarecrow. But, this year we were lucky to have the help of Isaac, George and Susie (the children of some good friends) who made 'Where's Wally' when they stayed with us.
Wally, didn't win any prizes (a knitted Wally came third, and would have been better to have taken a picture before Hurricane Bertha broke his neck) But, it was great to have an entry on the 'trail' again'.
