'POPPY PALE' WAS BREWED TO COMMEMORATE THE CENTENARY OF THE GREAT WAR. WITH 10p FROM EVERY PINT BEING DONATED TO THE LOCAL ROYAL BRITISH LEGION.

A TOTAL OF £75 WAS RAISED, AND PRESENTED TO OFFICERS FOLLOWING THE REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE AT MELSONBY.
