SNOWDROP ALE
THE BUILDING WHERE THE BREWERY NOW STANDS USED TO BE A STABLE FOR TWO PONIES. HORSES AREN'T MY THING, BUT ONE OF THEM WAS A LOVELY LOOKING SHETLAND PONY CALLED SNOWDROP.
EVERY MORNING SHE'D WALK PAST ME TO HER FIELD AS I HEADED OFF TO WORK (AT TEESPORT, MIDDLESBROUGH) IT WAS A SAD DAY WHEN SHE WALKED PAST NO LONGER. BUT, IF THE BUILDING HADN'T BEEN THERE AND UNUSED PERHAPS THERE WOULDN'T NOW BE A MITHRIL ALES?
SNOWDROP WENT OUT TO:
THE OLD WELL, BARNARD CASTLE
THE SHIP, MIDDLESTONE VILLAGE
THE HALF MOON, DARLINGTON
THE BUCK, SADBERGE
THE WHITE SWAN, GILLING WEST
THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON, WELBURY
THE WHEATSHEAF, BORROWBY
THE TRAVELLER'S REST, DARLINGTON
THE STANWICK, ALDBROUGH ST JOHN
THE FOUR ALLS, OVINGTON
THE CROFT HOTEL, CROFT ON TEES
THE JOINERS ARMS, HUNWICK
ENJOY!
