MACCLESFIELD BEER FESTIVAL 11TH AND 12TH MAY 2012
The 18th Annual Macclesfield Charity Beer Festival will be held in the big marquee at Macclesfield Rugby Club on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th May 2012
This year’s Macclesfield Beer Festival will provide funds to support Seashell Trust.
Seashell Trust (formerly the Royal Schools for the Deaf) is a charity based in Cheadle Hulme. It transforms the lives of the most vulnerable and disabled children and young people in our society, who have some of the most complex needs and disabilities. Our children and young people have a combination of deafness, blindness and autism along with physical disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
All have some degree of significant brain damage and critically, all of them have little or no ability to communicate.
Our children and young people have such severe and complex needs that local special schools simply do not have the experience or expertise to help them. We help the children and their families develop the skills they need to care, nurture and educate their children so that together we give them the best possible start in life.
