To coincide with Darlington CAMRA's 30th anniversary this Saturday, a presentation has been arranged with St. Teresa's of Darlington CAMRA's charity donation to them this Saturday at 2pm at the Snooker club.
This presentation will be Darlington CAMRA's largest ever donation to charity (as I understand), from the last beer festival at the arts centre.
Please come along and support the presentation and the celebrations.

PRESENTATION FOR COUNTRY PUB OF THE YEAR, THE CROWN AT MANFIELD
Peter and Karen at the Crown, receiving their country pub of the year award from Darlington CAMRA. This presentation was carried out in the marquee at the beer festival held the other week when the band was taking a break from performing.
We then popped back into the busy pub, to carry out the presentation again for the benefit of those enjoying the night in under more cover (and warmth)
Another well deserved award!

MACCLESFIELD BEER FESTIVAL 11TH AND 12TH MAY 2012
The 18th Annual Macclesfield Charity Beer Festival will be held in the big marquee at Macclesfield Rugby Club on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th May 2012
This year’s Macclesfield Beer Festival will provide funds to support Seashell Trust.
Seashell Trust (formerly the Royal Schools for the Deaf) is a charity based in Cheadle Hulme. It transforms the lives of the most vulnerable and disabled children and young people in our society, who have some of the most complex needs and disabilities. Our children and young people have a combination of deafness, blindness and autism along with physical disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
All have some degree of significant brain damage and critically, all of them have little or no ability to communicate.
Our children and young people have such severe and complex needs that local special schools simply do not have the experience or expertise to help them. We help the children and their families develop the skills they need to care, nurture and educate their children so that together we give them the best possible start in life.
Festival Opening Times 2012
Friday 11th May 2012: 7pm till 12.00am
Saturday 12th May 2012: 12pm till 3.30pm
Saturday 12th May 2012: 7pm till 12.00am
In addition, Macclesfield and East Cheshire CAMRA organise a free entry Saturday afternoon tasting session, all the beer without the bands. Please visit their website and contact George Symes for more information.

Mithril Ales Crucible Gold and Dere Street can be found at the festival
