JUDO - WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN RIO
This beer was brewed to celebrate the World Judo Championships taking place in Rio from the 26th - 31st August 2013.
Although I never tried Judo, those of a certain age will remember Brian Jacks who used to do 'Superstars' , or at least that's what my older friends tell me.
If you want to find out more about the sport, see the following link:

Or if you just want to try the ale (loose fitting suit and flinging fellow drinkers about optional) pop along to one of the following ale houses:
The Old Well, Barnard Castle
The Half Moon, Darlington
The Ship, Middlestone Village
The White Swan, Gilling West
The Voodoo Cafe, Darlington
The Forum, Darlington
The Quakerhouse, Darlington
The George, Piercebridge
The Stanwick, Aldbrough St John
The Croft Hotel, Croft on Tees
The Joiners Arms
Enjoy!
