Yes,I know the FA Cup Final was yesterday. Unfortunately, since the middle of April I have been having terrible problems with my internet connection.
After spending over six hours one week on calls to our provider, we had a surfeit of engineers turn up the other week. They agreed it was an external fault, however we were told it was underground and so a different set of engineers had to be booked. The internet was fine for about five days after they had been, before it started playing up again. We are due a visit on Tuesday (hopefully that will be the last one, he say's wishfully).
Imagine how slowly time goes by, as you sit trancelike looking at your Hub wishing, just wishing the bloomin ADSL and Internet lights will turn green. Then, the fight starts between you and the other half over whose use of the internet is more pressing - ebay, facebook or blog?
Anyway, it was a good match and the beer is/was available at the following fine ale houses:
The Old Well, Barnard Castle
The Ship, Middlestone Village
The Bishop Blaize, Richmond
The Holly Hill, Richmond
The Red Lion, Cotherstone
The Duke Of Wellington, Welbury
The Wheatsheaf, Borrowby
Cafe 1618, Middleton In Teesdale
The Stanwick, Aldbrough St John
The Croft Hotel, Croft
The Joiners Arms, Hunwick
The Snooker Club, Darlington
